About Bayliss Limited
Bayliss & Co Ltd started in 1927 in Boldmere, Sutton Coldfield. Initially it was based on the corner of Gate Lane and Boldmere Road, but in the 70s moved to a much larger premises further down Gate Lane. It has grown and prospered through several Prime Ministers, one World War, the miner's strike, the Millennium and much more!
Over the decades Bayliss has built its reputation as a one stop supply centre for the tradesman. Our customers include plumbers, builders, fire installers, carpenters and many more.
Bayliss & Co Ltd began a massive refurbishment and modernisation plan during December 2008. Firstly, a name change to Bayliss Limited and a new web address www.baylisslimited.co.uk were instigated to modernise the image. The Plumbers Merchant Trade Counter has been completely refurbished as has the Bathroom Showroom. A new computer system has been introduced to enable efficient stock control and order processing. Finally, the new Bayliss logo as been used on brand new signage around the main building.
In December 2010 Bayliss Limited announced the development of a brand new 5000 square foot bathroom showroom. The new showroom is scheduled to be open in May 2011 and will offer over 60 bathroom displays, a shower zone and a range of new luxury bathroom brands!
